Cognitive Dissonance Reduction as Constraint Satisfaction.
Shultz, Thomas R.; Lepper, Mark R.
Psychological Review, v103 n2 p219-40 Apr 1996

Simulations from this model matched psychological findings from the insufficient justification and free-choice paradigms of cognitive dissonance theory. (SLD)
