Classroom Performance of Students with Serious Emotional Disturbance: A Comparative Study of Evaluation Methods for Behavior Management.
McQuillan, Kathleen; And Others
Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, v4 n3 p162-70 Jul 1996
Treatment effects of three behavior management evaluation methods (teacher evaluation, self-evaluation, and group evaluation) were investigated among three male adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. Significantly improved academic performance was associated with self-evaluation and group evaluation methods. Time on task remained variable, with no significant changes in level except under the self-evaluation condition. (Author/PB)
