Teaching in Natural Areas: What Urban Teachers Feel Is Most Appropriate.
Simmons, Deborah
Environmental Education Research, v2 n2 p149-58 May 1996
Discusses a study of (n=59) urban teachers' perceptions of the use of various natural settings for environmental education. Teachers were asked to examine a set of black-and-white photographs depicting four different natural settings. For each setting the teacher made a judgment as to whether particular subject areas and lesson activities could be taught there. (Author/MKR)
