"Addressing Security Needs of Students" is a model to help create a safe environment in which students can learn. Elements are as follows: conduct a student survey, form partnerships with parents, focus on traditions, implement safety procedures, establish a discipline policy, and develop students' interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
