Psychological Aspects of Sexual Functioning among Cleric and Noncleric Alleged Sex Offenders.
Haywood, Thomas W.; And Others
Child Abuse & Neglect: The International Journal, v20 n6 p527-36 Jun 1996
This study compared self-reported sexual functioning among 30 cleric alleged child molesters, 39 noncleric alleged child molesters, and 38 normal control subjects, as measured by the Derogatis Sexual Functioning Inventory. Results suggested that cleric offenders may be less seriously psychologically disordered than noncleric molesters. Clerics were more likely to report fewer victims, older victims, and male victims than noncleric molesters. (DB)
