Results of the Vocational Special Needs Inventory, completed by 55 secondary and 19 postsecondary beginning trade and industrial teachers, revealed the following levels of knowledge about special populations: disabled, 40%; economically disadvantaged, 70%; older students, 33%; academically disadvantaged, 40%. Additional preparation for working with special needs students was recommended. (SK)
