Dutch society is remarkable in that schooling and other secular societal functions are segregated into parallel religious sectors. Data on approximately 1,700 students, studied during transition to secondary school and for 3 years afterward, were used to examine effects on educational outcomes of church participation, Christian worldview, everyday salience of religion, and religious sector of school.
