The Self-Perception Profile for Children was administered to 84 third graders of whom 42 had learning disabilities (LD). A subset of 28 (14 with LD) was also interviewed. Results suggest that most children with LD and normally achieving children perceived themselves as doing well academically, based largely on teacher feedback on classroom performance. (Author/DB)
