Reports the findings of a survey that explored the attitudes and attributes of nonrelative family foster caregivers and kinship caregivers for children adjudicated dependent and placed by a state public welfare agency. Found significant differences on several demographic variables, in the frequency of caseworker contacts and in perceptions and attitudes. (TJQ)
