When dealing with adult students' handwriting problems that have been diagnosed, teachers should recognize that students are sensitive and vulnerable and, therefore, it might be better to wait before criticizing their handwriting. Allowing learners to increase confidence with better command of spelling will help relax tensions and enable interventions. (JOW)
