A sample of four inservice teachers was used to investigate the impact of coaching on teachers' refinement of classroom activities. A wide range of outcomes was examined, including each teacher's procedural changes or refinements, corresponding measures of children's participation, teachers' appraisals of their activities, and satisfaction with the peer coaching procedure. Examines the implications for developing effective classroom changes. (AA)
