Race and Sex Differences in Reactions to a Simulated Selection Decision Involving Race-Based Affirmative Action.
Doverspike, Dennis; Arthur, Winfred, Jr.
Journal of Black Psychology, v21 n2 p181-200 May 1995
Evaluated the negative effect, fairness, and competence of Affirmative Action (AA) policies based on surveys from 235 college students. Results indicate that, although sex-based AA may result in certain social psychological costs for females, the same effect may not occur as a function of race. (GR)
