Lomotey's discussion of the UCEA knowledge base project's "Social and Cultural Influences on Schooling" domain raises troubling issues. Serious acceptance of this domain undermines the entire knowledge base project. The proposed 7-domain structure reproduces the long-established course structure that has trained educational leaders for schools that replicate race, gender, and class differences.
