Defining Administrative Tasks, Evaluating Performance, and Developing Skills.
Herman, Janice L.; Herman, Jerry J.
NASSP Bulletin, v79 n567 p16-21 Jan 1995
To ensure high performance, administrators should develop an articulated structure and process systems approach that identifies the critical success factors (CSFs) of performance for each position; appropriate indicators and scales; and a personal-improvement plan based on last year's evaluation. Once CSFs are identified and written into the administrator's job description, the latter should be used to select new administrators and evaluate their performance. (MLH)
