Community-Based Interagency Collaboration: A Poststructural Interruption of Critical Practices.
Capper, Colleen; And Others
Journal of Education Policy, v9 n4 p335-51 Jul-Aug 1994
Examines a community-based interagency policy effort from two contrasting perspectives: critical theory and postmodernist. Specifically, explores neighborhood resident participation in a decentralized, collaborative effort, using qualitative observation and interview methods. Although such collaboration could be considered an empowering strategy for community residents, from poststructuralist perspectives, it might be considered a way to maintain the status quo.
