Describes investigation utilizing frequency analysis of variance to determine effects of home language, faculty, frequency of guidance, and guidance experience on vocational identity of 1558 black South African university freshmen. Suggests that, although collected data supports continued use of My Vocational Situation with population, further validity studies are necessary. (CRR)
