Guest Editorials. Experiential Education Is Not Necessarily a Catalyst for Social Change. Experiential Education Is a Catalyst for Social Change!
Gayek, Alexandra; Ramsey, Kathryn
Journal of Experiential Education, v17 n2 p5-6 Aug 1994
Two divergent views concerning how experiential educators affect social change. The first editorial views experiential education as promoting the individual development of students but asserts that this alone does not lead to political action. The second editorial suggests that experiential education processes teach the art of compromise and balance and provide a catalyst for social change. (LP)
