High School Students Rate Their IEPs: Low Opinions and Lack of Ownership.
Lovitt, Thomas C.; And Others
Intervention in School and Clinic, v30 n1 p34-37 Sep 1994
Twenty-nine high school students with mild disabilities were interviewed concerning their perceptions of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Analysis showed that most students were unfamiliar with the IEP process and contributed little to it and that most IEPs were not individualized. Suggestions are presented for encouraging students to participate in the IEP process. (JDD)
