Analysis of professor (n=9) interviews and focus group (25 teacher instructors and coordinators) discussions reveals progress and problems of implementing the Urban Teacher Education Program (Indiana). This preservice program features instructional teams, composed of a methods professor and several teacher instructors, that manage student teacher instruction and supervision. (IAH)
