Examined differences between 186 elementary teachers who participated in consultation programs with school psychologist and 166 nonparticipating teachers. These variables significantly distinguished groups: school psychologist offering help, teachers' scores on Problem Solving Inventory, perceptions of psychologist training in problem solving, years of teaching experience, and perceptions that school psychologist's training is different from that of teacher.
