Children's Enacted Interpersonal Strategies: Their Relations to Social Behavior and Negative Emotionality.
Eisenberg, Nancy; And Others
Merrill-Palmer Quarterly, v40 n2 p212-32 Apr 1994
Examined the relations of preschool and kindergarten children's responses to hypothetical social problem situations expressed through puppet interaction to the children's general social behavior at school, behavior in potential social conflict situations, and temperamental characteristics. Children's enacted friendliness and aggression were consistently correlated with behavior in problem contexts, though they were not significantly correlated with their general social behavior. (MDM)
