Nofzinger, Eric A.; And Others
Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, v62 n1 p83-91 Feb 1994
Explored relationship between daytime affect and REM (rapid eye movement) sleep in 45 depressed men before and after treatment with cognitive-behavioral therapy and in control group of 43 healthy subjects. For depressed subjects only, intensity of daytime affect correlated significantly and positively with phasic REM sleep measures at pre- and posttreatment. (Author/NB)
