Information Sharing and Professionalism.
Howley, Craig; Huang, Gary
Journal of Experiential Education, v16 n2 p28-33 Sum-Win 1993
To achieve a substantive level of professionalism, experiential education should extend authentic educational practices to help mainstream educators provide meaningful learning. This can be accomplished through information sharing among colleagues and efforts toward philosophical clarification, theory building, and research. Rituals and collective behavior are examples of concepts in social psychology applicable to experiential education research. (LP)
