A Preliminary Study of the Effect of Eliminating Requirements on Clinical Performance.
Dodge, William W.; And Others
Journal of Dental Education, v57 n9 p667-72 Sep 1993
A study compared the performance of dental students following the traditional clinical curriculum that requires exposure to a specific range of discipline-oriented procedures with that of eight similar students in a curriculum focused on meeting patient needs but not traditional curriculum-based requirements. The nonrequirement group had higher academic achievement and productivity and reported less stress. (MSE)
