Worldview Differences between College Students and Graduate Counseling Trainees.
Mau, Wei-Cheng; Pope-Davis, Donald B.
Counseling and Values, v38 n1 p42-50 Oct 1993
Examined whether graduate students (n=95) in counseling held different worldviews than undergraduates (n=177). Subjects completed Scale to Assess World Views. Found significant differences between groups, with undergraduates being more likely to focus on past and to perceive human nature as evil, human relationships as linear-hierarchical and collateral-mutual, and nature as powerful. Sex differences also were found. (Author//NB)
