Working relationships between vocational English-as-a-Second-Language (VESL) teachers and their vocational counterparts for technical content-related language teaching were studied. The main unexpected finding was that the most effective vocational instruction resulted from the vocational teachers' participation in language-oriented staff development. (31 references) (Author/LB)
