Yount, James R.; Horton, Phillip B.
Journal of Research in Science Teaching, v29 n10 p1059-78 Dec 1992
This study investigated the relationship between factors believed to contribute to the formation of environmental attitudes by college nonscience majors (n=136) attending an environmental studies course. Factors investigated included environmental attitudes, decision defensibility, and the linkage of affective and cognitive domains. Reports that attendance at the environmental studies course did not change attitudes but did increase levels of defensibility. (MVL)
