Regional Accrediting Agencies Face Questions about Why--and When--They Sanction Colleges.
Leatherman, Courtney
Chronicle of Higher Education, v39 n18 pA15-16,18 Jan 6 1992
Debate exists over the appropriate role of the regional accreditation agency in higher education. Accreditation criteria, quantifiable and subjective, are also controversial. (MSE)
