Special Education Students as a High-Risk Group for Substance Abuse: Teachers' Perceptions.

Examined views of special education teachers concerning whether their students were at risk for substance abuse. Completed questionnaires from 166 special education teachers revealed that most special education students were not receiving either regular or special programs in substance abuse prevention. Of respondents, 70 percent believed that their students were at high risk for substance abuse. (NB)
