Counselors Teaching Peaceful Conflict Resolution.
McFarland, William P.
Journal of Counseling and Development, v71 n1 p18-21 Sep-Oct 1992
Conflict resolution theory suggests that the constructive, prosocial, integrative style is best for resolving interpersonal conflict, because it not only solves the problem but also enriches the interpersonal relationship. Effective interpersonal communication is the critical element of this integrative process. Counselors could prepare people to resolve interpersonal conflicts skillfully, effectively, and peacefully.
