Group Learning.
Black, Susan
Executive Educator, v14 n9 p18-20 Sep 1992
Research suggests that cooperative learning works best when students are first taught group-processing skills, such as leadership, decision making, communication, trust building, and conflict management. Inadequate teacher training and boring assignments can torpedo cooperative learning efforts. Administrators should reassure teachers with research findings, support teacher workshops, and encourage gradual classroom implementation. (16 references) (MLH)
