Rehabilitation Counselor Education and Case Performance: An Independent Replication.
Cook, Daniel W.; Bolton, Brian
Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin, v36 n1 p37-43 Sep 1992
Replicated Szymanski and associates' findings concerning counselor education, experience, and competitive closure rates for clients with severe disabilities. Findings from 50 rehabilitation counselors revealed that, for approximately the first 12 years of their careers, rehabilitation counselors with master's degrees tended to have higher rates of competitive closure for clients with severe disabilities than did counselors with bachelor's degrees.
