Setting the Standards for Coaching Curriculums: What Should It Take to Be a Coach?
Siegel, Donald; Newhof, Caryl
Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, v63 n1 p60-63 Jan 1992

Subjects agreed candidates needed specific courses and experiences prior to becoming head coaches. No clear correspondence showed between degree possession and courses and experiences represented.
