Attempted to develop questionnaire for assessing motivation to become a resident assistant (RA) and examined relationship between those reasons and interpersonal stress and job satisfaction in 55 men and 85 women employed as RAs. Found positive relationship between interpersonal stress and desire for power; helping behaviors and RA cohesiveness were linked with higher levels of job satisfaction. (ABL)
