The Subjective Well-Being of Parents.
Ishii-Kuntz, Masako; Ihinger-Tallman, Marilyn
Journal of Family Issues, v12 n1 p58-68 Mar 1991
Using a national sample of Americans, compared effects of marital and parental status on three domains of well-being (marital quality, parental satisfaction, and global life satisfaction) by examining three types of parents: first-married biological parents, remarried biological parents, and stepparents. First-married biological parents reported greater satisfaction with parenting than did the other groups. (Author/ABL)
