The Interpersonal Values of Students at Differing Levels of Extracurricular Involvement.
Fitch, R. Thomas
Journal of College Student Development, v32 n1 p24-30 Jan 1991
Examined whether there were significant differences in interpersonal values among students relative to their intensity level of involvement in extracurricular activities. Findings from 181 college students revealed that students who were moderately involved in extracurricular activities displayed a pattern of interdependence, whereas those peripherally and heavily involved were motivated by egoistic desires.
