Compared 48 children with attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADD+H), with 42 without hyperactivity, and with learning-disabled and control children. ADD+H children had more externalizing and internalizing symptoms, were more off task during testing, and had more family substance abuse, ADD+H, and aggression. Results suggest two types of ADD may be separate childhood disorders. (Author/NB)
