Student Teacher Attitudes to Sex Role Stereotyping: Some Australian Data.

Examines 461 Queensland, Australia, teacher education students' attitudes concerning sex role stereotypes and gender equity. Chi-square analyses produced significant effects for gender, showing females more egalitarian. Considers attitudes resistant to change, instances where self-interest may influence attitudes, and theory and practice discrepancies. Lists questionnaire results. (CH)
