Group Grade Grubbing versus Cooperative Learning.
Kohn, Alfie
Educational Leadership, v48 n5 p83-87 Feb 1991
Examines the assumption that interdependence is best achieved by using rewards. Cooperative learning programs with appropriately balanced curricula, autonomy, and relationship elements function well without extrinsic rewards. Includes 39 references. (MLH)
