Interviews with 10 female students in construction and engineering courses at Keighley College (Great Britain) found that they experienced problems with harassment from male students, isolation, and lecturers' attitudes. Recommendations were to increase the numbers of women students, encourage them to support each other, improve the induction process, change the college environment, and challenge sexist attitudes.
