To determine content for graduate programs in nursing administration, 184 nurse executives from acute care, home care, long-term care, and occupational health rated their job functions. All respondents spend time on activities requiring knowledge of law, health care policy, and organizational behavior. Ethics ranked lowest in terms of time spent. (JOW)
