Examined changes in self-mutilation, aggression, and running away for 32 teenagers in residential treatment who experienced interpersonal loss when staff members left employment. Data from four-year period revealed that frequency of self-mutilation increased significantly during time of anticipated loss. Found no significant change in aggression or running away before or after loss or in self-mutilation following loss. (Author/NB)
