Data from the Survey of Income and Program Participation revealed that several steps were involved in receiving child support: agreements, eligibility, receipt of partial payment, and receiving the full amount regularly. Predictors and their strengths varied from one step to another, but having an agreement and a level of payments were most important. (Author/TE)
