Teachers' Opinions of High School Counseling and Guidance Programs: Then and Now.

A questionnaire was administered to 180 classroom teachers in 19 midwestern high schools, soliciting their opinions regarding counseling and guidance programs in the secondary school, and results were compared with those of an analogous earlier study (Gibson, 1965). Results showed that teachers continued to believe counseling and guidance programs make a positive contribution. (TE)
