A study of 42 business administration faculty sought to determine whether performance variables not related to teaching can be used to predict teacher effectiveness. Results indicated that institutional service, business and community involvement, professional development, and scholarly pursuits are useful in differentiating between highly effective teachers and those who are less effective.
