The Role of Black Women in Social Change.
Gooley, Ruby Lee
Western Journal of Black Studies, v13 n4 p165-72 Win 1989
Analyzes study data to determine the interconnections of race, gender, and class among Black women, specifically examining the extent to which they are conscious of their roles as females and as Blacks. Results indicate interrelationship between Black women's race consciousness and gender consciousness and higher race and gender consciousness for Blacks than Whites. (AF)
