Elementary, middle, and high school counselors (N=72) responded to Self-Esteem Inventory, Self-Report Form, and Vocational Preference Inventory. Regression analysis revealed that Competence in Individual Work factor contributed most to explaining variance of scores and clearly differentiated groups with high and low self-esteem. This factor shared much of variance with variables of Organization, Feedback from Students, and Compatibility Index. (NB)
