Some Comments on the Relation between Reliability and Statistical Power.
Humphreys, Lloyd G.; Drasgow, Fritz
Applied Psychological Measurement, v13 n4 p419-25 Dec 1989

Issues include the appropriateness of underlying statistical models for psychological data and the relationship between difference scores and power.
