Describes an instructional module, "Family Therapy Without the Family," which prepares family counseling trainees for conducting a systemic assessment in individual treatment. Module assists trainees in development of questioning which elicits information about relational behavior and which generates sufficient data to develop a systemic hypothesis. (Author/ABL)
