Investigated meaning of career change using drama from family of origin perspective. Developed narrative portrayals of meaning from case studies (N=10) through use of quantitative Q sort data and qualitative interview data. Results suggest that family dramas are reenacted in work and meaning of a career change is significant development of these dramas. (Author/CM)
